The project self-assessment template is designed to help students reflect on their participation and progress throughout the book and project.

📌 What is the Self-Assessment Scale?
It’s a rubric that allows students to evaluate their involvement, language skills, teamwork, and project presentation. For each statement, students must select a score from 1 to 5 depending on what best reflects their experience:

1–2: Describes low involvement or underdeveloped performance.

3: Midpoint or difficult to define.

4–5: Indicates full and active engagement.
📝 What areas are assessed?
The template includes 4 blocks with key indicators:
1️⃣ Involvement in the project and reading the book

Book reading + comprehension: Did you read all the chapters and complete the quizzes accurately?

Reading activity exercises: Did you complete the weekly activity worksheets?

Project involvement: Were you proactive or did you wait for instructions?

Resource search: Did you use additional materials and credit your sources?

Oral expression: Do you speak clearly and understand the vocabulary used?

Oral comprehension: Can you interpret and infer meaning from speech?

Written expression: Is your text well-structured and grammatically correct?

Reading comprehension: Do you understand the purpose of the text and make inferences?
3️⃣ Project organization and development

Teamwork: Do you listen to others and seek consensus?

Autonomy: Do you take initiative and respond positively to feedback?

Task planning and distribution: Do you help plan and fairly distribute the work?
4️⃣ Project presentation and sharing

Presentation and delivery: Did you connect with your audience and use appropriate visual support?
✅ How to use it with students

Hand out the template at the end of the project.

Ask students to mark their level (1 to 5) for each statement.

Encourage them to comment on their choices or provide examples.

Use the completed form as a base for tutoring sessions, self-evaluation discussions, or end-of-term reports.
💡 Tip: Review their answers together and reflect on strengths and areas for improvement.
