✍️ What is the purpose of the forum?

To promote written interaction between students and the author.

To develop linguistic competence, especially written expression.

To provide a safe, creative space for sharing ideas that help shape the story.
🔁 How does it work?

The forum stays open during the 5-week story cycle.

There are always two active questions at any given time, which change regularly.

Student responses must meet a minimum length (depending on level) and relate to the question's theme.

The prompts are designed to help students practise different text types:

Argumentative

Descriptive

Expository

Narrative

(And occasionally persuasive or predictive)

The system detects inappropriate content and prompts the student to revise it before posting.

High-quality contributions may be recognised with a Featured Comment Certificate.
🎓 Tools for teachers
In the forum section, teachers have access to a Review tab where they can:

View and manage all posts by their students.

Take action on comments that are:

🔹 Reported by users.

🔹 Blocked by the content filter.

🔹 Invalidated by moderators.

🔹 Edited by the teacher to fix minor spelling/grammar issues.

Teachers are responsible for their students’ posts and are provided with the tools needed to monitor and guide forum participation effectively.
