How does Quiz visibility work?

Currently, Quiz visibility:

• Is managed per class and per book
• Is activated for a limited time (1 hour)
• Is controlled manually by the teacher using an icon

💡 This allows you to enable access at the right moment (for example, during class or under supervision).

Steps to activate or deactivate a Quiz

To manage Quiz visibility, follow these steps:

1️⃣ Log in to your Fiction Express account
2️⃣ Go to Teacher Panel > Assessment > Quizzes
3️⃣ Select your class
4️⃣ Select the book
5️⃣ Click on the 👁️ (eye icon) to make the Quiz visible

Important: visibility duration

• Once activated, the Quiz will be visible for 1 hour
• After that, it will automatically deactivate
• You can reactivate it at any time

Why is visibility time-limited?

This approach supports effective assessment by:

• Preventing answers from being shared outside the classroom (e.g. social media)
• Ensuring fair evaluation for all students
• Giving teachers full control over when the Quiz is taken

What if students choose different books?

If you are using a flexible methodology where students choose their own books:

• You can still manage visibility per book whenever needed
• It is not necessary to assign the same book to the whole class
• Simply select the relevant book and activate the Quiz when appropriate
