[Fiction Express] How to assess the forum in Fiction Express

The Fiction Express forum is a space where students can share ideas, discuss books and interact with authors.

 


📌 How to access the forum?

To assess your students’ activity in the forum, follow these steps:

1️⃣ Go to your Teacher Panel in Fiction Express
2️⃣ Open the "Forum" section
3️⃣ Click on [Review] to view your students’ comments
4️⃣ Select the book you want to assess and choose the posts to review
5️⃣ Only pending comments will appear by default (you can use filters to view others)
6️⃣ Click the rubric colour [🟢🟡🔴] based on your evaluation
7️⃣ Add a comment or adjust the suggested grade (you can do it all at once and save changes at the end)
8️⃣ When finished, click "Save changes"

🔒 This evaluation is private between you and the student.


📌 What can you assess in the forum?

Evaluate students' posts based on:

💬 Participation – How many comments did they publish?
📖 Content – Are their responses well-structured and related to the book?
Interaction – Do they reply to others or generate debate?
📝 Spelling and clarity – Do they write clearly and coherently?

💡 Tip: Use the forum to encourage critical thinking and literary discussion.
